The buzz around Bobby Okereke's outstanding performance won't die down, even in the offseason. The media continues to praise Okereke, who has emerged as one of the most impactful players of the 2023 NFL season.

Analytics site Pro Football Focus released a list spotlighting a player for his unwavering efforts on the field, their selection was Bobby Okereke.

"The Giants surely couldn't have hoped for a better outcome when they signed Okereke as a free agent in 2023," Zoltan Buday of PFF wrote. "He played a career-best snap total, with his 1,128 snaps during the regular season standing second among all linebackers. His overall grade of 78.9 also ranked him 12th among his peers."

Okereke's leadership skills were apparent right from the start, as he was voted a captain before the commencement of his inaugural season with the Giants.

His 2023 performance was dominant. Okereke recorded a team-high 149 total tackles, the third-highest in the Giants' history, and the ninth-highest in the league. He set new career records with four forced fumbles, 2.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, six quarterback, and 10 passes defensed. One thing that stood out about Okereke's first season with the Giants was his durability. As a fifth-year linebacker, he played every single one of the Giants' 1,228 defensive snaps this season, making him one of only two of the league's players to be on the field for every defensive snap.

"Our free agent process was good," said general manager Joe Schoen at the end of the 2023 season. "We brought in guys that fit our culture, they were good guys, they helped elevate their rooms and Bobby O's one of those guys." Given Okereke's dominant performance and proven leadership, it's clear he fit the Giants' culture perfectly.
